hi there! it's nice to meet you!
one thing about me is that i love solving puzzles, especially the kind where law, business strategy, and design all collide.
i'm currently in law school with the goal of practicing intellectual property law, particularly within technology, entertainment, and consumer brands. what fascinates me most isn't just protecting great ideas, it's understanding how they're created, how they grow, and how they make an impact.
somehow, i've found myself exploring everything from marketing and branding to policy research, ux/ui design, and legal analysis. while those might seem like completely different worlds, i've realized they're all trying to answer the same question:
how can we make this better for people?
whether i'm researching a legal issue, developing a partnership strategy, or helping plan the future of an airport lounge, i'm happiest when i'm taking something complicated and turning it into something people can actually understand.
i'm naturally curious, a little too detail-oriented (ask anyone who's watched me spend an hour adjusting slide margins), and i enjoy learning how different industries work. i've been fortunate to work everywhere from digital entertainment to airport hospitality, and every experience has taught me the same thing: the best solutions aren't just smart, they're thoughtful, practical, and designed with people in mind.

i joined ppg during my second year of university, supporting marketing initiatives at vancouver international airport. back then, i was creating social media content, organizing events, and learning how branding shapes the way people experience a company. fast forward a few years, and my role looks very different.
today, i support strategic initiatives across north america, working on airport lounge expansions, competitive bids, and partnership proposals. i've had the opportunity to contribute to projects involving organizations such as american express, visa, united airlines, the nfl players association, and canada beef, helping develop strategies that connect business goals with memorable customer experiences.
one week i might be...
✈️ researching a new airport market
📊 building a proposal for a multi-million-dollar partnership
🤝 collaborating with stakeholders across north america
that's probably my favourite part of the job—no two weeks ever look the same.
it's also where i discovered that i genuinely love strategy. i enjoy taking a blank page, then turning them into something people can easily understand and make decisions from. knowing that these projects can influence the experiences of millions of travellers across north america makes the work even more rewarding.
legal research
working in marketing made me realize that my favourite part of every project wasn't just the creative side, it was the research. i loved digging into complex issues, identifying patterns, weighing different perspectives, and figuring out the strongest path forward.
those same skills are what eventually led me to law.
through my legal internships, i've researched civil litigation, tenancy law, procedural rules, and administrative decision-making. i've analyzed hundreds of residential tenancy branch decisions, prepared legal memoranda, researched british columbia supreme court procedures, and translated complex legal principles into practical guidance.
what i enjoy most about legal research is that it feels surprisingly similar to strategy. every problem has multiple perspectives, and the challenge isn't just finding the right answer, it's asking the right questions first.
